Currently reading a book that explores eating seafood ethically. Many of the ethical choices argued have been on my radar and have been influencing my seafood choices for many years but I am now being challenged to consider the bigger picture and how much more effort I, as well as the rest of the world, need to put into eating seafood in a conscientious manner to ensure the health of fish stocks, the ocean and ultimately all life on earth.
Although fascinating and informative, I feel deflated and gravely concerned about the way we eat ocean protein…as though it is an endless supply.
